TV Installation Guide

Install Xuper TV on Your TV

Full walkthrough for Fire TV Stick, Firestick 4K, Fire TV Cube, Android TV boxes, and Smart TVs. No PC needed — takes about five minutes.

Works on all Fire TV models: Fire TV Stick (all generations), Firestick 4K, Firestick 4K Max, and Fire TV Cube. The steps below apply to all of them.

Step-by-step installation

1
Enable "Apps from Unknown Sources"
On your Fire TV remote, go to Settings (gear icon in the top menu). Then navigate to My Fire TVDeveloper Options. Find "Apps from Unknown Sources" and switch it ON. If you don't see Developer Options, tap "About" repeatedly on some older models to unlock it.
Why this step? Fire TV blocks APK installs by default. This setting tells the device to allow apps that don't come from the Amazon App Store.
2
Install the Downloader app
Go back to the Fire TV home screen. Use the search icon and type "Downloader". Open the result from AFTVnews and press Download / Get. The app is free and takes about 30 seconds to install.
Already have Downloader? Skip to step 3.
3
Open Downloader and enter the code
Launch the Downloader app. You'll see a URL/search bar. Click it and type the code below, then press Go.
Recommended free version (v4.99.3)
7230881
Other free versions: 9764306 (v4.34.5) or 2880326 (v4.99.2). See the download page for all codes.
4
Wait for the APK to download
Downloader fetches the Xuper TV APK from the code's URL. A progress bar will appear. Download size is roughly 40–80 MB depending on the version. Make sure you're on Wi-Fi.
5
Tap Install
Once the download finishes, Downloader will show an installation screen. Press Install using your remote. The system will ask you to confirm — press Install again on the next screen.
6
Open Xuper TV and start watching
After installation, press Open on the confirmation screen. Xuper TV launches and you can start browsing movies, series, anime, and live channels right away. No account setup needed.
Find it later: Xuper TV will appear in "Your Apps & Channels" on the Fire TV home screen. You can also move it to "Favorites" for faster access.

This guide covers Android TV boxes such as Nvidia Shield, Xiaomi Mi Box, Chromecast with Google TV, and generic Android TV boxes running Android 5.0 or later.

Step-by-step installation

1
Enable Unknown Sources (or Install Unknown Apps)
Go to your TV box SettingsSecurity (or Privacy on newer Android TV versions). Find "Unknown Sources" and turn it on. On Android 8+ you'll enable this per-app later — so you can skip this step and grant permission when prompted during installation.
2
Install Downloader from the Play Store
Open the Google Play Store on your TV box. Search for "Downloader AFTVnews" and install the free app.
No Play Store? If your TV box doesn't have the Play Store, use a USB drive or APK mirror to install Downloader separately. Most Android TV boxes do include the Play Store.
3
Enter code 7230881 in Downloader
Open Downloader, tap the search bar, enter 7230881 and press Go. The download starts automatically.
4
Install the APK and open Xuper TV
When the download finishes, tap Install. If prompted to allow installs from Downloader, tap Settings, enable the permission, then come back and install. After installation, tap Open.

Samsung, LG, and other branded Smart TVs have locked operating systems — they don't allow direct APK installs. If your Smart TV runs Android TV (Sony, Phillips, TCL, etc.), use the Android TV Box guide above. For Samsung Tizen or LG webOS, use a streaming stick instead.

Options for Smart TV users

1
Option A — Android TV (Sony, TCL, Philips)
If your Smart TV runs Android TV, follow the Android TV Box guide in the tab above. These TVs support APK sideloading exactly like a TV box does.
2
Option B — Plug in a Fire TV Stick
Plug a Fire TV Stick into your TV's HDMI port and follow the Fire TV guide above. This works with any TV that has an HDMI input, regardless of what Smart TV OS it runs.
3
Option C — Built-in browser
Some Smart TVs have a web browser. Open it and go to aftvnews.com/7230881. If the TV allows APK downloads, it will prompt you to install. Success depends on the specific TV model.

Troubleshooting

The app is asking me to pay — is that normal?
Yes, this is expected with newer versions. Xuper TV v5+ for TV may require payment in some regions. Switch to code 7230881 (v4.99.3) or 9764306 (v4.34.5) — these older builds are still free in most countries.
The code doesn't work in Downloader
Make sure you're entering only the numbers, with no spaces. If the Downloader app shows a connection error, check your internet connection. You can also try the browser method: open your TV's browser and go to aftvnews.com/7230881.
I can't find the Downloader app in my app store
On Fire TV, search specifically for "Downloader by AFTVnews" in the Amazon App Store. On Android TV, search Google Play for "Downloader AFTVnews". If it still doesn't appear, your region's store may not carry it — use a phone to download Downloader's APK from the developer's official site and transfer it via USB.
The app installed but won't open
Try restarting your Fire TV or TV box first. If the app crashes on launch, try a different version code — start with 7230881 (v4.99.3), which has the widest device compatibility. Also make sure your device firmware is up to date.
Videos buffer or don't play
This is typically a network issue. Test your internet speed (you need at least 5 Mbps for HD). If you're on Wi-Fi, move the Fire Stick closer to your router or use a 5GHz band. Restart your router. If only specific content buffers, try a different server or stream quality option inside the app.
